Everything You Need to Know About E-Liquids
When you arrive at the vape shop, you can quickly feel overwhelmed. Vape shops are lined with different vaporisers, vape products, and e-juice bottles. You can mix and match flavours such as strawberry, peach, key lime pie, blueberry, strawberry shortcake, and mint. You can buy e-liquids with or without nicotine. Nicotine-infused e-liquids are available in different strengths. Are you interested in CBD products? Do you want CBD gummies or CBD vape juice? CBD products are also available in different strengths. Before you get overwhelmed with all the choices, you should consider what type of vape device you own. Generally, some e-liquids perform better in specific devices.
Liquid Ratios
When you start staring at the e-liquids lining the walls of the vape shop, you will quickly notice the different liquid ratios. E-liquid ratios describe the amount of PG and VG in the liquid. For example, a PG 40/60 vape juice indicates that it is 40% PG and 60% VG. You will notice a CBD e-liquid has a much higher ratio of VG than PG. VG cannot dissolve CBD isolate. Typically, the best CBD e-liquids are PG 70/30, meaning they are comprised of 70% PG and 30% VG. PG 70/30 CBD e-liquids will provide a better vapour and taste.
Nicotine Levels
Nicotine-infused e-liquids are also available in different concentrations. You may notice that one flavour is offered in 3-mg, 6-mg, 12-mg, and 24-mg concentrations. A 6-mg vape juice means that there is 6 mg of nicotine for every millilitre (ml or cc). If you only smoke half a pack or less of cigarettes a day, you should consider a 3-mg vape juice. On the other hand, if you smoke two packs of cigarettes daily, a 24-mg vape juice will better satisfy your nicotine cravings.
The Best Ratio for You
In the beginning, it can be a guessing game as to what the best e-liquid ratio is for you. The best e-liquid depends on what type of device you use, what concentration of nicotine or CBD you want, and what coil you are using in your device. For example, a 0.5-ohm coil requires more power and a thicker VG juice would be ideal. A standard 1.8-ohm coil is best for lower wattage levels and thinner PG e-liquids. If you are looking for CBD vape juice with a higher ratio of PG, it may be best to use a standard 1.8-ohm coil. On the other hand, some CBD vape consumers prefer higher wattage. The decision comes down to your preferences.
